Patrício Faísca is a Portuguese filmmaker with extensive experience producing, directing and editing feature films, short films, ads and music videos.
He is adept at guerilla-style, low budget filmmaking, and has been extremely successful at leveraging production value, using a combination of great preparation, on-site resourcefulness, and post-production skills (specially in image compositing and visual effects). "Comando" (2010), "Lost Haven" (2013), and "Payload" (2014) are some of his self-produced films, and all prime examples of his style - gritty, fast-paced, and full of destruction and high-octane action.
Patrício founded the production company New Light Pictures in 2012. Since then, he has worked with several nationally acclaimed actors (Diogo Morgado, Vera Kolodzig, Diogo Amaral, Marco Horácio, Rui Unas) and artists (Jimmy P, Valete, DJ Ride, Dino D'Santiago, Tribruto)
He was the producer and editor of Diogo Morgados's directorial debut, "Malapata" (2017).
